Description
The Constitution of India is not merely a legal document; it is the embodiment of the collective aspirations, ideals, and democratic vision of a nation that emerged from centuries of colonial rule and social transformation. It reflects the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that continue to guide the governance and constitutional journey of the Republic of India.
This book has been prepared with the objective of providing readers with a comprehensive, structured, and accessible understanding of the Indian constitutional framework. Beginning with the historical foundations laid during the colonial era and tracing the evolution of constitutional governance, the text examines the formation and functioning of the Constituent Assembly, the role of various committees, the drafting process, and the philosophical foundations that shaped the Constitution.
