About The Author

Dr. Amit Kumar Khaaskalam has been serving in the Department of Information Technology at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya for nearly 27 years as a faculty member. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has been actively contributing to the university’s startup ecosystem over the past five years, mentoring and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.

Dr. Amit currently serves as the Director of GGV Startup Foundation (GSF), where he is dedicated to inspiring and guiding young innovators to transform their ideas into successful startups. He is also the Co-Coordinator of two major initiatives supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India—the Technology Enabling Centre (TEC) and the Technology Business Incubator (TBI). Through these initiatives, students and young entrepreneurs receive training, mentorship, and comprehensive support, from the idea stage to establishing successful enterprises.

Earlier, Dr. Amit authored a Hindi book on Java Programming, which is available free of cost on the e-Kumbh e-Portal of the Government of India. Students can download the book and benefit from this valuable learning resource.
