About the Author

Dr Shyamala Peesapati grew up in Bengaluru, India. She is a passionate young dentist, an aspiring writer and a dedicated rare disease advocate. She graduated in the year 2019 from one of the finest dental colleges in the country, Government Dental College and Research Institute, Bengaluru.
A firm believer of the mantra, “there is nothing called rare when there is enough knowledge shared.” She is working to be the voice for the rare disease community.
She is the only Indian Ambassador for Shaping Foundations, a non -profit student led organization based in New Jersey, USA and for the Rare Youth Revolution, United Kingdom, that is aiming to create awareness about rare diseases.
A volunteer member in Rare Disease Ghana Initiative, she is connected with many rare disease organizations across the world.
“World will remember you dad”, is her debut novel that is based on her life events and lessons.
When given a choice between dentistry and writing, she would choose both!
