The book has collection of my articles published from time to time. They are broadly classified under three headings- The Ostrich, the Eagle and the Owl. These are on Technologies, Aeroforce and Jointmanship. Articles on technologies include the revolutionary trends in technologies and their ramifications. Aeroforce includes articles on education, maintenance and articles related to quality, reliability and so on. Articles in Owl include some humour, some articles to encourage when the chips are down and so on.

About the Author

Air Marshal Prashant Purushottam Khandekar, AVSM (Retd) is an alumnus of VNIT, NITIE Mumbai and DSSC Wellington. He has held many important staff and command appointments including commands of Air Force Stations High Grounds, Kanpur and Commandant and Director of MILIT- then a DRDO lab. He was member on many study teams; has four instructional tenures and has presented many papers in National level seminars on various topics. He has the unique distinction of teneting four out of possible five appointments an engineer Air Marshal can. He has come out with many magazines and journals while in service. His book titled ‘Under the Wings, On the Tarmac’ has been published in August 2019 and is available on e platforms.
