Description
About The Book:
The poet presents an intimate account of his poetic journey, creative process, and experiences of life. According to him, poetry is a powerful literary medium through which vast and profound ideas can be expressed effectively in very few words. However, expressing emotions through appropriate words, symbols, and imagery is not easy. The collection reflects deeply on the “third phase” of life, or its later years. As time passes rapidly, a person begins to evaluate his life; some try to hold firmly to whatever remains, while others gradually embrace detachment. His poems emerge from these waves of thought and experience. Ultimately, the poet does not write to please any particular person, class, or group. His poetry is an honest expression of his inner truth, personal experience, and self-reflection.
