ABOUT THE BOOK
The book, “THE PLIGHT OF A MOTHER” is
written for mothers, especially those mothers who walk the same path that I had passed through.
Many times, mothers have shed bitter tears for their husbands or children, who have been inflicted with cancer. The dreaded disease causes not just physical pain but takes a toll on the mental and spiritual wellbeing of the patient as well as the caregiver. While it is the doctors’ prerogative to diagnose the type of cancer that afflicts the patients, during such crisis situations, the family, especially the mother dedicates her whole being untiringly to work and pray for her loved ones to get divine blessings and be healed.
Jesus had said, “Come to me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Let us turn to Him with our whole heart so that we, as mothers, would hear His words spoken to us, “Fear not.” The Lord is the most powerful Doctor and Healer, of our body and soul. If we allow Him to be the Captain in our lives and our families, we will never be defeated. With love, I call upon all mothers to have strong faith by believing that if God is on our side, Satan cannot overcome us or our beloved.
