Description

“Tapestry Poetry”, pioneered by poets Shernaz Wadia and Avril Meallem is a rich and varied offering of 9-line poems written individually on a single topic and then artistically interwoven into a Tapestry poem of vivid imagery and designs. Irrespective of the topic, each individual poem and each tapestry etches out a philosophy of life that is at once deep, meaningful and profound, yet easily understood. It is truly amazing as to how the two poets residing across continents, are able to think independently and then find a common ground for weaving their Tapestry poems of varied patterns that surely provide an altogether new understanding, appreciation and experience of poetry reading.
