STUDENT ENGAGEMENT IN MANAGEMENT EDUCATION – [INDIAN CONTEXT]

The rapid growth of enrolment in the field of higher education has resulted in large number of students in one class room which is in-turn has led to a lack of engagement in classroom activities. This book aims at providing a deeper understanding of various interventional strategies in order to engage UG and PG students who are pursuing Management courses. Specifically, this book aims to identify the effect of individual factors in achieving self-goal orientation, academic self-efficacy about student engagement among Management students. Student engagement is a critical factor which contributes for overall development of the students. About the author

Sri Satya Sidhartha Panda, A result-oriented creative professional and senior Academician with 15 + years of experience in Corporate, Academic & Research. He has done MBA, MJMC and M.Phil. hails from Kalahandi (District) in Odisha and pursuing his Doctorate from Jain (Deemed-to-be University)-Bangalore. He has authored four Books: Human Capital Management (as per Bangalore University syllabus), Insight -Discover the Interview Secrets for Your Success, The Explorer-Gateway to 21 Century Skills, You Can Crack the Job Interview besides eight Book Chapters, 19 Research Papers in Double-Blinded Peer-Reviewed International Journals. A Life Member of ISTD-Bangalore Chapter and an Editorial Board Member of several Double-Blinded Peer Reviewed International Journals. Mr. Panda has been conferred with various National and International Awards for his contribution in the field of Management Education, Career Counselling and effective Teaching Pedagogy.
