Bhupendra Kumar is a highly accomplished researcher, author, and academician in the field of agricultural sciences, specializing in Genetics and Plant Breeding. A scholar of exceptional merit, he was awarded the prestigious DST INSPIRE Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Throughout his notable academic journey, he has carried out advanced doctoral research as a former Ph.D. Scholar at both Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Pusa, Bihar. A stellar alumnus of CSA University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, he Post Graduated with top honours, receiving the coveted Chancellor’s Gold Medal with 3 sponsored Gold Medals and the Best M.Sc. Thesis Award in 2024. His academic credentials are further decorated with the CSTUP SRFP Merit Award (2023-24) and advanced national professional training from ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi (2024). With multiple research publications in peer-reviewed, high-impact NAAS-rated journals, his core expertise lies in crop improvement and molecular breeding. Ms. Saloni Singh is a Ph.D. Research Scholar in Genetics and Plant Breeding at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology (CSAUAT), Kanpur. Her research interests include plant breeding, quantitative genetics and crop improvement, with research experience in Indian mustard and field pea. She has contributed through research papers, book chapters and scientific articles with research papers accepted for publication in national and international journals. She is also a recipient of the Young Ph.D. Scholar Award for her contributions to Genetics and Plant Breeding.
