Description
About the book :
One always have doubts on their preparation while preparing for the RPSGT or CPSGT exam. There is this constant doubt whether one have understood the AASM scoring manual well enough to answer any polysomnography (PSG) tracing based questions in the exam. I myself have faced these doubts and had gone through various sleep atlas to become familiar with more and more PSG tracings. But they do not discuss PSG tracings following all rules laid down in the scoring manual.
I have tried to find PSG tracings from our sleep study data base highlighting as many scoring rules as possible. I have tried to annotate the PSG tracings for easy understating of how a particular scoring rule is applied.
I have created questions based on these PSG tracings for students to practice and feel confident when they go for the exam. I have given “Further review info” section also with each question to review other essential concepts related to that particular rule to answer other questions asked with a twist. I have referenced the answers to AASM scoring manual rules for students to refer back to what is actually written in the scoring manual.
