About the book

POETIC HEALING is a collection of poetry that unveils multiple sentiments about the mystery of nature and the author’s own life. There are people who are beautifully broken, the author included, and so writing these poems have allowed him to work towards a place of healing. The author asks his readers to savor every experience that occurs in each of his poems. In addition, these poems address his own emotions generated and conjured from the core of his heart. This rhythm of both heartbeat and breath are incorportated into the work. POETIC HEALING has allowed the author to think about all the various challenges he has been tasked to overcome at such a young age, and it is in these poems that he has been able to heal. And by healing, he has been given a new way to think about his life to live.

About the author

Faisal Justin was born on January 10, 2002. He grew up in Key Nouck Thi, Arakan in Myanmar. In this second book of poetry, Faisal Justin asks the following questions: What challenges does the poet, Faisal Justin, face in his life? And as a poet, what is the purpose? How does one find meaning? Perhaps the purpose is in recording the extraordinary in the ordinary. Faisal continues to work on discovering himself through his travels back to his home country, in rediscovering family, and even though all the schools have been closed due to the ongoing war, perhaps learning is in the work of poetry and in working to discover oneself.
