Gypsy Wanderings was born out of the desire to chronicle the adventurous childhood memories of the daughter of an army officer, traveling all over India. Soon it became the story of her plucky mother who as an unschooled child bride empowered herself to bring up her children in the most extraordinary circumstances courageously.

About The Author

A retired gynecologist turned trilingual writer-poet Dr. Sunil Kaushal resides in Pune, India. Her short stories and poetry in National and International Magazines have won her many awards and recognition. Honoured at the Indian World Poetree Festival with The Enchanting Muse Award (International) and Fellow of the Regal World of Scribes (FRWS), by The Pentasi B Poetree Group (International) and Women Achiever’s Award by Literoma, Dr. Kaushal finds inspiration everywhere, being in love with life. She was also awarded the Best President Lioness, Asia Award by Lion’s International in 1982 for the work she did for the welfare of women and children.
