The book is written based on experiences from classrooms where the author taught at the Secondary level (Technical Schools to be precise) through to the Polytechnic to the University and a wide reading of Technical Drawing books written by early Engineers and wide imaginations of the author on day-to-day engineering problems confronting mankind. He believes the power of expression depends on one’s ability to control language and that extensively depends on the basics of that language; hence, the author’s motivation of breaking down to the lowest level of Engineering drawing, the common language of all Engineers under the globe.
