Seventeen year old Aurelia Vex was perfectly content and sort of happy with living her boring old life, with her typical, crappy, teenage problems- sneaking out to parties without getting caught, getting rejected by her crush, and being the pathetic fifth wheel of her amazing friends group.
But things go for a toss when her scientist Dad gets kidnapped by a dangerous crime family. It turns out that her father has been keeping a lot of dark secrets from her- especially about the work he’s been doing down at the lab. That secret work seems to have caught the interest of one of the most dangerous men on earth- dead or alive.
The only person who can help her out is a mysterious boy with piercing green eyes who seems to absolutely hate her guts, but yet can’t seem to stay away from her.
Lia ends up having to completely upend her life, finding out that things aren’t what they always seem to be- starting with herself.
With monsters, zombies, and shooting flames out of palms, Lia’s new life goes through a rollercoaster of problems, and she does not know when the ride is going to derail.

About the Author

Neelima Rao is a writer and artist, known for having a creative streak since childhood. She has grown up reading books, and has always had a dream of publishing one of her own. She is extremely passionate about animals, fashion, shopping, and travelling. She is currently settled in Hyderabad, but plans on traveling as much as she can, both in and out of the country, to get more inspiration for her writing. She is known for being a bit of a troublemaker, especially after having a minimal brain to mouth filter.

The author has experience in short story writing, poetry, digital art, painting, and portrait sketching. Blood of the Demonified is her debut novel, which she plans on expanding into a trilogy.

Professional Background: Neelima has done her Bachelors in Computer Applications, and has currently pursued her career in the Digital Marketing field. She is now working as a subject matter expert and as a trainer in Google Ads.
