ABHOUT THE BOOK
As a young kid brought up in a small town in Karnataka, I always found the English Novel to be aloof and unrelatable. That was until I discovered R.K. Narayanan. His novels from “Swami and Friends” to “Grandma’s tale” ignited in me a passion and respect for the power of words that could extrapolate a small unknown habitat in India to a Global microcosm of humanity and relationships. This book, with whatever little talent I have, is his attempt to carry the same spirit further.
This book contains a series of short stories inspired by some true events in my life and lives of those I know which I have further fictionalised with some imagination and exaggerations with an intent to make it interesting and entertaining. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did relive the same. The words used were not meant to hurt anyone, but if it did, my apologies.
