Red is unique, highly passionate. It is one of the most preferred colors of all. History of languages reveals that red is the first color after black and white. It is auspicious, romantic and blissful, the color of passionate love, revolution, romance, danger, anger, and adventure. Our prehistoric ancestors saw red as the color of fire and blood – energy and primal life forces – and most of red’s symbolism today arises from its powerful equality in the past. Like a magical, mystical, symbolic super-human heroism, color red is almost as rare and as expensive as purple, a fact that may explain its super power.
