Description
‘Under the Fly Over’ is a story spun around the miseries of the underprivileged and poorer ones. A villager migrates to the illumination of city to earn for his family gets trapped in the web of corruption and malpractices. Eventually he loses everything to the urban chaos. Seeking for the justice he fails. His long struggle encompasses many people, good and bad. The story is all about his struggle to turn the mountain of corruption and evils to search goodness and justice for himself and finally the society. Those who are not empowered with the armoury of education and wealth can be used by the empowered for any cause of their benefit. Those who do not have shelters and are trapped under the governance of daily needs do not have the time to sit and analyse the happenings around them. Despite having the brains for evaluations they are more occupied to arrange that loaf of bread which is the today’s lunch for them and family. At the same time the story has the characters that depict the cruelty and shrewdness of the one’s coronated on the thrones of power and affluence, and the characters that have the heart of gold to fight against the troublers. But still the story emphasises on the importance of general social awareness and integrity that may demolish any camp of injustice. The story ends with the message of intention &integrity as a solution to all evils.
