Title The Golden Window

Description

This is my fifth book of poems and my sixth book. Like all my other anthologies this book too has sixty poems and five sections. My other anthologies are, “Life- A Collection of Poems”, “Paradigm”, “The Maverick’s Journey” and “The Sun through my Wine Glass”. The sections are-Sky, where I have expressed my ecstasy of looking at the multi-hues of the clouds and the wondrous shapes and I write a lot when in a flight; Forest, poems of my mesmerisation when I visited the Sundarbans forest and other beautiful forests ; River, where I have put down feelings while riding a boat on a river or seeing rivers from above; Land, feelings in a train ride and other memorable incidences, Abode where I feel my heart and my mind are abodes where I hold virtues like kindness and love. I was sitting at my balcony one day. The sun was setting, and its glow was on a glass skyscraper, the glow dazzled and blinded me. The reflection on the window, the golden light suddenly made me realise our heart is like a golden window, reflecting the beauty of the world. All the poems here are reflections of my heart so what better a name than “The Golden Window” of this eclectic collection! This book is being compiled at the time of Covid 19 lockdown so many poems are related to this situation.

About the Author
