About the book
Chris Martin was a seven-year-old boy who lived with his mother Jenna Martin, a widow, in Infianal, Celcioya. At the age of four, his father died in a car crash with his aunt Karen and his cousin Carrie. The child carried interest in music and he was a big fan of the renowned Pop singer, David Dawson, whose father Shawn Dawson was the owner of a Record label – J-World. Chris had a fancy desire to meet him. He had two friends: Debbie Robson (who loves reading books) and Charlie Cooper (who loves rap songs) who were also his neighbours and classmates. One evening when Debbie invited him to her parent’s tenth anniversary party, he met his uncle, Koban Martin (his father’s younger brother) who was an upset and hot-tempered man after two years. Koban used to hate Chris’ mother and used to consider his father a ‘murderer’. Chris’ life took a turn when one day he got to learn that J-World is organising a music competition and the winner will get a chance to meet the renowned Popstar. He decided to participate and with the help of his mother and friends, he shared his music video. It was Chris’ fate to meet his idol, but there were a couple of evil minds who had different plans.
About the author
I’m 29 Years old, an HR professional and I live with my parents in Navi Mumbai. A B.com graduate and have over three years of professional experience. I always wanted to do something creative in life. Had many creative field desires, but being from a middle-class family, I didn’t have much to think of apart from working. An average student in school and in graduation, I started to work as an HR professional in 2015. The wage was low, but I worked wholeheartedly till 2017. Things changed in 2018 when all of a sudden I started to reconsider my life. I started to dislike my field. I quit my job in April of the same year and considered doing a 3D visual effects course (which I thought would be creative), but it was too expensive. Depression and overthinking had me during that period, and till June I kept applying for my jobs but was rejected. However, in July of the same year when I was unemployed, I thought of writing stories. Being new in the field, I had ups and downs, but I kept going. I used to read Harry potter’s first book and fault in our stars to grasp the knowledge (how to write dialogues and plot) and kept writing while looking for a new job. The pandemic was the best year of all as in that time the plot actually took proper shape and in 2021 I finally got a job. I used to write and work at that time.
