About the book
The individuality and integrity of the teacher form the foundation of effective teaching, which cannot be reduced to technique. There are many different types of successful teaching, but all outstanding teachers have one thing in common: they are genuinely present with their students and the subject matter in the classroom and in the community. They are able to create intricate links among themselves, their subjects, and their students by having “a capacity for connectedness” and enabling their students create a world for themselves.
Whether it is the teacher-student relationship, pluralism, or a teacher’s relationship with their profession, all teaching is based on ethics. This book ‘Teaching as an Art’ provides an insight and educates and guides all those who are new to the teaching profession and aspiring teachers as well.
