ABOUT THE BOOK

Presenting a compilation of stories in a different kind of writing style. It has been one of my most cherished dreams to have a book published. However, having always been involved in the audio-visual medium as a writer-director in advertising, television and now feature films, stories do not develop in my mind in the form of a novel or short stories. Instead, they invariably develop in the form of storylines for movies. Hence, in the ‘Storylines-Telling Movies in Words’ series, I am presenting you some such storylines for your reading pleasure. In the wake of the highly encouraging response to the first edition, I hereby am reaching you with Part 2.

Son of Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Sukumar Sengupta and Dr. Sushma Sengupta,.. Zubie Saurabh Sengupta, as a Writer-Director, started his career in Advertising (having created film, audio and press campaigns for leading brands like UNICEF, DABUR, PAN PARAG, DETTOL,WIMCO, JIL and more) and then expanded his horizon to Television (Having made some noteworthy Television shows including ‘CHAHAT AUR NAFRAT, KHAMOSHIYAN KAB TAK, KABHIE KABHIE and more) and now, as a writer-director, he has made his foray into movies with Hindi Feature Film ‘IN THE MONTH OF .JULY’ now streaming on several known OTTs (including MX PLAYER, Shemaroo Me, Jio Cinema, AirTel Xstream, TATA sky, Videocon, Dish TV and more) and about to be released ‘IT’S A MAN’S WORLD’(both small-budget films) He also has to his credit, as a singer, composer, lyricist, poet and narrator, a bouquet of audio albums released on reputed digital platforms worldwide (including Amazon Prime, MX Player, Spotify, Tidal and many more).
