Description
About the book
This is a series of seven books on Total Quality Management (TQM) that provides a complete guide to the theory and practice of TQM.
The series attempts to simplify and demystify the beliefs around applications of TQM to an organization. Though they have been written with the process and manufacturing industry perspective in mind, the analyses are generic and are applicable to all kinds of organizations.
TQM practicing organizations can use this Book Series to implement TQM practices in their organizations. The set of books have been written from a manufacturing industry deployment perspective and the key focus is on providing a practical and formatted approach to aid easy deployment of practices. One may customize the generic formats used in the book to arrive at their organization-specific Daily Management practices and the methods & formats thereof!
BOOK SEVEN – STATISTICAL PROBLEM SOLVING – the TQM Way
BOOK SEVEN talks about various STATISTICAL PROBLEM SOLVING methods and their application. The book presents a practitioners’ view of applications of high-end statistical problem-solving tools used for solving complex, cross-functional and inter-related problems.
This book would bring clarity of usage of these high-end tools through case studies and illustrations from manufacturing industry applications. It would discuss Sampling methods, Data Distributions, Hypothesis testing, Multivariate Analyses, Regressions, Design of Experiments along with a range of Modelling & Simulation methods. Between book 1 and Book 7, I feel we will be able to take care of all learning needs of the organization w.r.t. Problem Solving tools.
