ABOUT THE BOOK
On Christmas Eve, Sophie, a nine year old girl wakes up to find that there is no Christmas present for her – while everyone in her neighbourhood got presents. She even doubts Little Jim, her neighbour might have stole her present. Soon her parent’s in-laws arrive and starts exchanging gifts. But still Sophie grieved being the only one to not have got a Christmas present. Dejected she storms out of the house in the middle – when the whole family were gathered for a afternoon meal. She arrives at a nearby church and sits outside watching people revelling. Seeing a lone girl, the church’s pastor takes Sophie for a walk to give Christmas a whole new meaning.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
John Summer published his first book ‘Stories of Happily Ever After’ in 2022. The author is an ardent fan of classic children tales with high moral values, and wants to build a strong connection between writer and reader through imaginative storytelling with high human values at its heart. In a present world that has many divided opinions that lead to chaotic actions – the author tries to make an effort to change through creative material and hope the readers too follows the same to a journey for a better future.
