ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jimmy Arujo (officially Francis Arujo) is a businessman based in Dubai, dealing in the production and printing of posters, banners, leaflets, brochures, gift articles and such other collateral communication support items.
Born in Bangalore, India in 1965, the author grew up in Bombay (a.k.a. Mumbai) where he lived a life filled with adventure, wild escapades, much romance and romantic mischief, girlfriends of all kinds and shapes and sizes and interests and talents, pets of all kinds, several motorcycles, wildlife, photography and poetry.

After graduating in science, majoring in chemistry, the author dabbled in marketing pharmaceuticals before becoming a cub reporter with a tiny magazine. Finding that life eminently too insipid for one of his spirit and vigour, he catapulted himself into the glamorous world of advertising.

Working with some of the world’s fines brands, he grew from strength to strength as a copywriter and relocated to fresher pastures in Dubai, UAE and worked with some of the foremost advertising agencies in Dubai. In 2010, he set up his own business, trading in printing material, which afforded him the luxury of time that advertising could never afford to give him.

He loves to recount his adventures in the form of poetry and sometimes in the form of song, though he is not a very gifted singer. This poetry book is his first book and he is already working on another book of short stories that will regale the reader with most of the adventures in this poetry book, in the more interesting form of narrative prose.
