ABOUT THE BOOK
This book is an honest attempt to analyse and understand the multiple dimensions of the fictional universe of famous contemporary Assamese writer Suresh Chakravarty. The book is written in English so that non Assamese readers of India and English knowing readers of other countries also get a chance to have a glimpse of the writings of Chakravarty. In this book the author Subhajit Bhadra makes a maiden effort to critically analyse the power behind vernacular languages of India in general and Assamese language in particular.
