About The Author
MA (English), PGDMM, MBA (Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi), with over 40 years Industry, Education and Training & Development experience. Last stint as General Manager in a premier Consumer Durable Company in New Delhi. Presently, Associate Professor of Management Studies & Head-Corporate Affairs & Placements as well as Committee Member of the Innovation Cell,at the Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj,New Delhi that is affiliated to GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He is also on the Governing Body of the above College. Member of Chartered Management Institute, London, UK. as well as the American Marketing Association,USA, and the Centre of Economic Growth (CEGR),New Delhi. Prof Manchanda has been associated with a number of start ups in the last 10 years-as Mentor and Advisor. He has successfully helped young Entrepreneurs in launching the start ups and has led them through various stages such as Concept & Research, preparation of Business plans, Traction, Refinem nt, Scaling and securing appropriate Funding and finally becoming established. Prof. Manchanda has written a large number of articles on Management, Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation, otivation, Personality Development, etc.and these have been published in Indian newspapers such as The Hindustan Times, The Economic Times as well as on International articles web sites. His book “Pathways to Life Evolvement, Explorement and Enlightenment” was published in 2010 by an American Publisher. His article on “Social Etiquettes” was published in 2016 as a chapter in the book “Corporate Employability Skills” brought out by the Centre for Education Growth and Research, New Delhi. His article on “Students and Teachers Relationships” was published by the Educreator Research Journal in 2017. His book “Fundamentals of Business Policy & Strategy” for Management Students is under print. Prof. Manchanda has been Keynote Speaker in various Seminars and Programmes organized by IMT,Ghaziabad, CEGR, FMS Alumni Association, MAIT and many more. Prof. Manchanda considers himself blessed beyond words. He was born in India, a great country of traditional spiritual values. He is married to Veena, the most patient, beautiful woman on the planet, he has two wonderful children, Prateek and Prerna. He never dreamt that life could become so good simply by following a few basic tenets – such as maintaining sobriety and courtesy, being responsible and accountable, paying attention to detail and never letting go. Prof. Manchanda is a voracious reader whose taste runs to contemporary genres of literary fiction and mystery /suspense/thriller and philosophy. He is also a film buff and also loves to play quiz games of every sort.
