About The Authors

Dr. Ranjit Dutta M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D. , is a well-known poet, novelist, translator, critic, a social activist and an eminent writer. He was born and brought up in Dibrugarh, Assam. Three of his Assamese novels namely “Keijonman Bondhu Dutiman Golpo Aru Ekhon Upayanakh”,”Kolahirar Dekholoi” and “Nishter Kothare” have won many hearts. He was awarded “Somaj Pran” and “Somaj Ratna” awards for his brilliant contribution towards the society. Rajorshi Patranabis is a bilingual poet and translator.. A food consultant by profession, his poems have appeared in many national and international journals and anthologies. The Crossover – Love beyond Eternity is his collection of English poems. Feriwala is his collection of Bengali poems. Nirjon Saikat – Luit Hooghly is his first translation project of Bengali and Assamese poetry, wherein he has translated and his Bengali work has been translated.
