This book is a collection of 50 Karbi poems by Khorsing Ingti. The poems here shows the taste of modern poetry touching the veins of Karbi literature. Exploiting the themes of love, natural beauty, humanity and so on, the poet talks about the place where he breathes.
About the Author
Sri Khorsing Ingti (born on 27.09.1968) of Dongmukak, Karbi Anglong is one of the most prominent rising poets among the Karbis at present times. Sri Khorsing Ingti, is the son of Lt. Longki Ingti and Lt. Kadom Terangpi. He is a permanent resident of Nihang Ingti Arong, Ok-kereng. Since his younger days he had been associated with many literary societies, cultural and social organizations. He began writing by contributing poems and articles for wall-magazine and Annual Magazines of Diphu Govt. College. He had worked for media houses like Paharidoot ( News Paper ) and Kopili ( News Paper ) during 1989 as a reporter. He had been associated with the Howraghat Press Club during 1992 – 93 as Organising Secry. In 1989 he became a member of the Assam Sahitya Sabha, Howrahgat Anchalik Samiti and during 1990 – 92 worked as the Organising Secretary for the organization. He associated himself also with the All Assam New Writters and Art Association, Howraghat Anchalik and Central Committee during 1989 – 1993. In the KEA, Dokmoka Zone he was the Secretary in 1992-93 session. Presently, he is an active member of Karbi Lammet Amei, Dongmuka Branch.
