About the Author
Srividya Subramanian is a senior-grade English teacher at a reputed school and a passionate writer based in Chennai. Born and raised in the bustling city of Mumbai—fondly known as the ‘city that never sleeps’—Srividya embodies its spirit: honest, optimistic, spirited, and fiercely independent.
She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Annamalai University, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from IGNOU, and a diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Additionally, she is certified in Animation and Multimedia as well as Creative Writing.
With a literary repertoire that includes over a hundred poems, numerous short stories, and a novella, Srividya has made her mark in several national and international writing forums like Penmancy, Asian Literary Society, Beyond The Box and ArtoonsInn. Her work has been featured in various anthologies, both in print and digital formats.
Her debut poetry collection, Whispers In Verse, published in 2024 received warm appreciation and recognition as ‘Best Debut Poetry Book’ by KALA Literature Awards in 2025.
