Description

This book is a collection of poems by Hingchong Tisso. It contains Karbi poems and also the English translation of the same. Expressing his views on the world around him, the poet has in this book tried to show his feelings and views about life an society.

About the Author

Hingchong Tisso, a resident of Rang Teron Village, Birla Gate, Diphu is the eldest son of Late Muna Tisso and Mrs. Dimro Teronpi. As a kid, he grew up playing football in the village ground beside the Diphu river. He passed his matriculation from Christian English High School, Diphu and HSSLC from D.A.V Higher Secondary School, Diphu and then joined Diphu Government College for higher studies. Since his school days he had been involved in various social activities. At present, he is associated with Karbi Cultural Society (KCS) and also the Jambili Literary Foundation (JLF). “Longing” is his first anthology of self-composed poems. Before this he had contributed his poems in the anthology – Hirjir Rimburi Vol – III.
