The book “Language, Literature, Culture, Religion and Integrity in the Northeast India” is prepared to meet the aspiration among the readers. This book is prepared and encompassing the eclectic views of different authors. The collection of essays is an honest attempt to analyse the following issues such as Language is the streamline of the communication of human thought. Language is the only media that can exchange the diversified human knowledge since the evolution. The expression of ideas can maintained the unity and integrity in the region or nation as a whole. The literature which exposed the ideology of past and present and stored and helps to spread insight to outside the world and give and substantiate apparent knowledge of neighbouring society and the state. Society of a community and their social system is known by their rich culture, life and activities. A culturally developed, socially advanced community and the state is always regarded in the past and the present. The imitation of rich cultural environment helps in the integrity of Region and the state. The acceptance and tolerance of religion, either ancient and medieval is one of the major influential factors that ethnically diversified caste and creed could fabricate in an unending dimension. Religious ideology leads to create moral education, social unification, cultural integration. But variation in the religious philosophy some time brings communal tensions. Whatever it may be the combined efforts of the socio-cultural and religious amity is always been twisted by language and its superiority can bloom the Amaryllis of political integrity. A specific emphasis has been given to explore the existing hindrance of regional unity and integrity of the communities of Northeast India.
About the author
Prof. Toijam Tampha Devi received her Doctorate Degree in Manipuri from Manipur University, Imphal. She currently teaches at the Department of Manipuri, Manipur University Imphal. Her areas of interest include Manipuri Culture & Literature.
Dr. Mary Sana Rajkumari received her Doctorate Degree in Manipuri from Assam University, Silchar. She is Currently working as a Post-Doctoral fellow in Manipuri from Manipur University. Her areas of interest include Tribal studies of Northeast India, Manipuri Culture & SC.
