Description
ABOUT THE BOOK
The practical exercise given in the manual covers methods of isolation, purification, identification of the pathogen, general characteristics of fungi, Koch’s postulates, Gram staining of bacteria, disease symptomatology, transmission of viruses, and identification of nematodes. Blank spaces are provided in all the exercises so that students may draw the structure of pathogens, etc., and record the observations as per guidelines given in the exercises. It is hoped that the manual will prove helpful in providing practical laboratory training and teaching aids to the students.
