About the author

Dr. H.M. Ashashree studied her M.Sc. (2003) and Ph.D. (2009) in Applied Zoology from Kuvempu university, Karnataka. She has 18 years of Teaching and 15 years of research experience. Earlier worked asGuest lecturer since July 2003 to 2010. Presently, she has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Sahyadri Science, Shivamogga. She has published more than 22 research papers in National and International Journals. She has attended various National/International conferences, Symposiums/Seminars and presented the research articles in various Universities, colleges and institutes of India. She has also participated in various workshops, Refresher courses, Orientation course and training programmes. She is the member of several boards of the Universities of Karnataka. || Dr. B. R. Kiran studied his M.Sc. (1995), M.Phil. (1998), Ph.D. (2003) in Environmental Science and P.G.Diploma (2009) in Industrial safety with First Rank from Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Karnataka. He has 21 years of research and 20 years of Teaching experience. Worked as Guest Lecturer in the Dept. of Environmental Science/Water Management and Water Harvesting from 2000 to 2009. Presently, he has been working as Research and Teaching Assistant in Directorate of Distance Education, Kuvempu University. He enjoys the distinction of authoring 07 book chapters, 05 books and more than 190 published research papers. He has attended various National/International conferences, Symposiums/Seminars and presented the research articles
