ABOUT THE BOOK
A bed-time story that my grandmother Kamladevi Kochar narrated to me every other night while I was growing up, as a child, the story inculcated a sense of responsibility and kindness towards others and also to share the things you receive, being kind and generous was the way to live is what was embedded as a part of my roots, which till date helps me use these principles as a yardstick to overcome the smaller hurdles in everyday life. As my grandmother turns 84 years old this year, I would like to share this story which is close to my heart with more and more kids to benefit from.
This is a Children’s book, about two sisters who have different personalities, one is generous and caring and the other one likes to look after herself and what she wants and does not worry about other people. However, on realizing the good things about her sister she learns to be more helpful and sharing.
Three unique incidents occur in each of their journey and their reaction to each one of them is very different. The story highlights these differences and showcases the different outcomes and lifelong takeaways.
