About the author
“Pankaj is an engineer by profession and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-BHU, India. He has also done his management education program from IIM Ahmedabad, India.
He has more than 2 decades of experience in various functions like Manufacturing, Projects, Human Resource, Research & Development, and Business Transformation etc. He has worked with organizations like Tata Steel, Dr Reddy’s, and JSW. In 2020, he joined his current role as Executive Director & CHRO, JSPL from Ambuja Cements where he was working as President – Manufacturing.
Pankaj is a Master-black-belt in Six Sigma and holds several patents and copyrights in the field of Total Quality Management while being trained in other improvement methodologies like Lean, TOC and TPM. He also has the distinction of facilitating two successful Deming Prizes consecutively for JSW Group in the years 2018 and 2019.
Pankaj has also been trained on Innovations from the Haas School and on TQM from Japanese Union of Scientists & Engineers (JUSE), Tokyo.
Amongst several copyrights in the field of TQM, some of unique practices ones are: Improvement methodology-4i, Employee Engagement model-8S, Shop-floor improvement model-0757, Policy Management Methodology-OSM, Talent mapping model-5D amongst many others.”
