The Questions offer sgentle inquiry rather than anger, asking innocent questions about destiny, time, strength, and faith as a way of making meaning without forcing it. The Remaining Love is a quiet devotion, where love is allowed to continue without apology, not as denial, but as a living inheritance that shapes how the speaker becomes softer, steadier, and more human. Living With It brings the reader into the ongoing reality of grief, where healing is not an endpoint but a practice, and where peace is sometimes found in small joys, in acceptance, and in learning to carry grief without being consumed by it.

The manuscript was written in honor of the author’s Late grandparents and created as a birthday gift for her mother, with 53 poems marking 53 years of love, memory, and endurance.

Shagun is a writer, artist, and data scientist. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and brings both heart and clarity to the way she writes about loss. Her work is rooted in the belief that grief is not something to “get over,” but something we learn to understand, carry, and soften with time. She writes in the hope that her words help readers feel less alone, and help them make sense of grief with gentleness, honesty, and love.
