DAWNINGS

Description

We cannot realise things in life all at once. It takes time to learn, to know and understand the happenings around us. Dawning is a collection of poems that expresses the smorgasbord of life in its various form. Sometimes life puts you down, sometimes it teaches you, and sometimes it makes you happy and sad. Things which you have experienced in your family and friends flashes in your mind as memories, and you long for them with a thankful heart. Just as a parent would correct a child to follow the right path, how much more than the man above love to chide us. if we look around us unfathomable life surround us, the only thing we can do is to appreciate and thank the man above for its grandeur etc. in the form of realisations through gradual steps about life, though yet to learn more, on my part I have inked a small part of these realisations In the form of poems (a wake up call on my part therefore Dawnings).

Leonard Mozhui holds a master degree in English literature and works as asst. professor in Bailey Baptist college. He stays with his parents currently in Wokha,Nagaland, north- east of India.
