This book is designed to provide the fundamentals of clinical research to students of pharmacy and other health sciences. An important goal of this book is to enhance students’ perceptions of the relevance of clinical research to pharmacy practice. The book includes important concepts in clinical research described in sufficient detail so that the student may integrate and understand these principles and then be able to apply them in subsequent coursework in clinical research. Furthermore, this text contains frequent and specific references to clinical research and the practice of clinical pharmacy designed to facilitate students’ understanding of basic concepts and their pertinence to their chosen profession. The goal of clinical research is to provide useful knowledge on the research protocols to the physicians, medical students, interns, pharmacist and also people working in clinical trials in a complete, accurate and concise manner. About The Authors

Farhad Ahmad Pir was born in the year 1989, in Sopore, District Baramullah in Kashmir. He was brought up in a village named Tujar Sharief. He knows English, Urdu and Kashmiri languages. He is an M.A in English literature and has been awarded PhD in the field of English literature from Barkatullah University, Bhopal titled “Diaspora studies in the novels of Khaled Hosseini.” He holds an interest in teaching English literature and Grammar studies. He is a well-rounded professional carrying a wide repository of knowledge in English literature. He has been presenting and publishing research papers in national and international journals. He has been a resource person in a workshop titled “Communicative skills and Basic Grammar Studies.” He has been writing articles in different newspapers on a regular basis. His area of interest is American fiction and contemporary English literature. He likes playing volleyball and traveling.
