About The Author

Dr. Prashanth Konkal was born in Harvi village, Sirwar Taluk, Raichur District, Karnataka. He completed his M.Sc. in Zoology and Ph.D. from Karnatak University, Dharwad. In 2014, he successfully cleared the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) and was awarded the UGC–Research Fellowship in Sciences for Meritorious Students (RFMS) at the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) level during his Ph.D. He has published several research articles in reputed national and international journals and has presented his work at various scientific conferences. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, at Shri Gavisiddeshwar Arts, Science and Commerce College, Koppal. He also holds significant academic responsibilities, serving as Member and Chairman of the Board of Examiners (BoE) at VSK University, Ballari, and Koppal University.
