Rongmei peoples are indigenous inhabitant of Barak Valley from the historical past. Their social and cultural practices are little known to people living in the neighbourhood. These peoples are observing their age old social and cultural activities “Tingkou Ragwang Chapirak'” which is considered as their supreme god and “Keijing keirou’ which is their household diety. But, few of these people have been converted to Christianity.
