ABOUT THE BOOK
When we hear the word “poetry,” what kind of feelings arise in our minds? While many people appreciate poetry, some turn up their noses at the mention of “Shayari,” dismissing it as the work of idle minds. However, if we look at the history of post-independence India, we can see how the pen has acted as a great weapon. The works of poets such as Rabindranath Tagore, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, and Kazi Nazrul Islam have had an indelible impact on our literature. Their poems, articles, and discussions have enriched our literary landscape in many languages, and we cannot repay our debt to them. Yet, a new generation of poets and writers is emerging and enriching our literature in their own unique ways. Although not everyone becomes an established writer or poet, their contributions cannot be denied. This book is a collection of poems of various genres, reflecting the different moods and perspectives of poets. Whether romantic, religious, atheistic, or rebellious, each poet brings their own voice to their work. The main objective of publishing this book is to motivate men towards their rights in society. Through my writings, I hope to raise awareness of men’s rights and encourage readers to assert them.
