ABOUT THE BOOK

“Having been restless, during the Covid restriction period, I started writing a few Blogs to entertain my friends. While in the process, I realized that Blogs had limitations as far as their sizes were concerned. I, therefore, call these narratives ‘Blog-Stories.’ The stories are purely fictitious in their construct. Any resemblance of any character of the story with that of a person is purely coincidental.
The book titled ‘Life is Like That – A Bouquet of Stories’ contains twenty small stories; each one is completely different from the other in their backdrops. These are neither suspense nor romantic in their contents. Each Stories begins innocuously but the climax was always reserved for the last page. A couple of the stories deal with sensitive social and religious issues. But, please do not be judgmental about the author’s mental state or attitude based on his handling, these sensitive topics. These are not the author’s personal views. He only tried to play the role of a Devil’s Advocate.
I hope the inherent humor that laces the stories wouldn’t be lost to the readers. These narratives are intended to be a collection for ‘light reading’ of a different kind, some even bordering to absurdity. Hope, you will indulge me, in this efforts of story-telling in my sun-set years.
