Among all the sciences, particularly, the organic chemistry has performed a vital role in day to day life of human being. Pharmaceutical organic chemistry-III presents the recent developments in syllabus of undergraduate students of pharmacy. In the recent years the pharmacy council of India has introduce the syllabus of B. Pharmacy. Pertaining to this, the major aim is to provide the reader with sound knowledge of the stereochemistry and its application, heterocyclic chemistry and its applications in designing of new lead molecules and some reactions of synthetic importance with its principles and mechanisms that are especially pertinent to new drug development. Secondly it is aimed to develop and provide such a tool for sharpening the students and fulfill the needs and interest of students in the subject of pharmaceutical organic chemistry-III.
