Validity of MOU (Memorandum of Understanding or Agreement)

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) must be executed within 15 days to be considered valid; otherwise, it will be deemed invalid. The author is required to sign the MOU within 15 days of receiving it via email or other means. If the author signs the MOU after 15 days, it will be null, void, and invalid by default. However, we retain the discretion to consider the MOU valid even after the 15-day period has elapsed.

Publication Rights Statement:

The author retains all rights, including copyright, for the submitted work, assuming full legal responsibility. However, for the purposes of publication, the author grants us non-exclusive rights for distribution. We have the liberty to distribute books in ways that optimize sales and generate royalties for the author. While the selling price is typically determined by the author, we reserve the right to adjust it for strategic reasons, ensuring a positive net royalty for the author.

Regardless of any pricing adjustments, the author will always receive 100% of the net royalty. The author can revoke this right by providing written notice via email to publish@evincepub.com. The termination of this right occurs 20 days after we acknowledge receipt of the notice, or sooner if we confirm termination via email. All sales, publication, and distribution activities conducted before the termination of rights remain legally binding.

In cases where a third party is involved in distributing/selling our published books with our consent, we commit to cease their activities upon the author’s request. The timing of this cessation will be subject to the third party’s internal procedures and schedule.

All disputes will be subject to Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh Court Jurisdiction only.
