Well magic isn’t found, it’s created and I have created mine with words. To start with, I wouldn’t call World Amidst. The Words an actual compilation, it’s more like an encyclopedia. Honestly, not that tedious. Calling on all Phobophiles, satire lovers, philosophical minds and fantasy admirers, you have it all in here. Somewhere at a point after all the frolic it gets meaningful. Every poem has its purpose. This compilation, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle at the end, fit in to constitute a completely off beat realm. It seems soothing, distressing, hilarious and even creepy, there is no space for ennui here. This is a utopia where all dreams come true, no heart is broken and where only the pious souls reign. This book has not only fictional goody stuff that is portrayed it also has hard hitting realities, the facade worn by the society. Truth is hard to digest but this book makes you see beyond what it is shown. It questions the reason of our existence, enquires the role of destiny and the hypocrisy of the society. Not all have the courage, yet this book encourages to speak the unspoken. If you ask me this book is not a fairy tale rather every day world’s tale, relatable yet intriguing, fictional yet realistic what ever would you call this. All observed and penned in a young lass’s perspective…

About the author

Amana, when she was 12 years old, studying in 6th standard, Bishop Cotton Girls School, Bangalore, she started writing poems i.e., on 4th April 2020. Lockdown boredom inspired her to pen 200 + soulful poems in English as well as in Hindi. Her first book “Echoes of Soulful poems”, foreword was written by Padma Sri, Moon Man of India Dr.M.Annadurai. The book got released by Mr. R Suresh Kumar, Hon’ble Education Minister, Govt.of Karnataka and Padma Shree awardee poet and writer Mr.Dodda Rangegowda. Her First Anthology consisted of tranquil poems, based on fond memories, incidents and keen observations about the society with versatile topics and flamboyant illustrations. It was also translated into regional language, Kannada. Most of poems are published in newspapers/websites. Her book also praised by Bharath Ratna Prof. CNR Rao and Mrs. Rao,Mr. Shashi Tharoor also wished after seeing her book. Amana is a bibliophile, having 500+ books in her shelf, and love to spend time amidst the books. She chose poetry as her genre, as it is an eloquent genre that conveys the thoughts and feelings in a reposeful manner. After reading her poems, one will be left with the thought that they should follow their heart, do what they love.
