Present book entitled ‘Plant pathology, divided into two sections, Section-A deals with the discussion on General topics like Various terms and Concepts of Plant Pathology, History of Plant Pathology, Methods of studying plant diseases, Disease development, Role of various Environmental factors and Enzymes in the Disease Development, Disease Management. While Section-B Includes important diseases on Wheat, Jowar, Bajra, Rice, Groundnut, Grapevines, Potato, Vegetables and Fruit plants. It also focuses on Parasitic Flowering Plants. This book is written in simple language and it will be helpful for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

About the author

Dr. Mukundraj B. Patil is working as Head, Department of Botany, Late Ramesh Warpudkar Arts, Commerce and Science College, Sonpeth (Maharashtra) since 2011. He is recognized research guide of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and three students pursuing Ph.D. degree under his guidance. Till date he has Published Twenty seven Research Papers in referred and peer reviewed journals of National and International status. He has written three books on Botany and edited five books. He has Attended Twenty one Conferences/Seminars/Workshops throughout the nation and presented research work in nine conferences. He has completed a research project funded by UGC. He has published several news paper articles and given radio talks on different issues. He has organized seven state/national/international conferences on different topics. He is member of various academic associations and member of editorial board/ review committee of the journals.
