Description
Jallianwala Bagh has great importance, pain, and historical tragedy. It witnesses one of the cruelest massacres of the pre-independence era and therefore has become the symbol of national importance and remembrance. Jallianwala Bagh located in Amritsar, Punjab in India is a public garden. Public demonstrations were organized on the grounds of Jalianwala Bagh in the pre-independence era. Inside the garden, a monument was built in 1951. This was in memory of the innocent people who died in the massacre of 1919. Later, a flame was added in honor of the martyrs. Since then, it has become the center of political and humanitarian importance. The story though doesn’t start here.
