Quorum sensing (QS), an interesting mechanism that explains the importance of communication, interaction, and significance of majority for successful completion of a process. By definition, quorum sensing is the “expression of a gene of interest through cooperative behavior of microorganisms.”This handbook/textbook/lecture notes will provide basic knowledge of the quorum sensing mechanism in BACTERIA, APPLICATIONS, AND ONGOING RESEARCH. This handbook/textbook/lecture notes will be helpful for B. SC and M. Sc students from the Applied Biotechnology discipline.
