Professor Subash Chandra Padhy is a distinguished historian, researcher, teacher, and author with more than five decades of academic and research experience. A former Professor of History, he has made significant contributions to the study of Odisha’s history, historiography, princely states, tribal history, and the Indian freedom movement.
He has authored and edited several books and numerous research papers based on extensive archival research and interdisciplinary scholarship. In recent years, his intellectual interests have expanded to philosophy, spirituality, and civilizational studies.
