(Echocardiography),** is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiac Technology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Puducherry Campus. She is a dedicated academician with a strong interest in cardiovascular imaging and echocardiography. As an early-career educator and researcher, she is passionate about teaching, research, and advancing cardiac diagnostic technologies. Through *A Beginner’s Guide to 3D Echocardiography*, she aims to simplify complex concepts and provide students, cardiac technologists, and healthcare professionals with a practical understanding of modern 3D echocardiographic imaging.

Ms.Sowndharya .S, M.Sc. (Echocardiography) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiac Technology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation – Deemed to be University (VMRF-DU), Puducherry Campus. She completed her M.Sc. in Echocardiography from the School of Allied Health Sciences, VMRF-DU, Puducherry Campus in 2024 and her B.Sc. in Cardiac Vascular Technology from Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Puducherry in 2022. She has published a research article titled “Echocardiographic Assessment of Left Ventricular Hypertrophy in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients: Association with Renal Dysfunction Severity and Cardiac Remodeling” and authored a book chapter entitled “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Diagnosis of Prenatal and Postnatal Congenital Heart Disease.
